Mann Selected For Pace Car Team
Pippa Mann has been selected to be part of the 2010 Pace Car Team. The young British female was chosen alongside fellow Firestone Indy Lights drivers James Hinchcliffe, Stefan Wilson, Martin Plowman, Charlie Kimball and Brandon Wagner.
As part of the Pace Car Team, Mann’s duties over race weekends will involve taking guests around the track for “Honda Hot Lap Rides” in a modified Honda pace car, and taking part in various race weekend parades and pre-race ceremonies.
Speaking about the announcement, Mann said: "It's a great privilege to be chosen as part of the Pace Car Team for 2010, and I think it provides an awesome opportunity to get more involved with both the Firestone Indy Lights Series and the IZOD IndyCar Series. I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the Honda pace cars, and enjoying some hot laps with guests and fans alike. It should be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to get started!”
The 2010 Firestone Indy Lights season kicks off at St Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday 28th March.
